The Code of Conduct describes the principles in which all SANCET contributors,
collaborators and authors are expected to fulfill:
-
The main objective of SANCET is to gather basic information of all stranding events in the Southern Adriatic through collaboration and citizen science.
-
Information must be continually submitted upon collection by individual authors, collaborators and citizen science participants.
-
Each author, collaborator and partner involved in the SANCET partnership will have the right to freely use the information submitted by themselves after it has been submitted to the database.
-
Reports will be published annually with the information submitted to SANCET in which all partners and contributors will be published and/or acknowledged.
-
All basic information on stranding events will be made public through the SANCET website.
-
Only agreed partners, collaborators and authors are able to use the data submitted to SANCET for scientific publications, unless permission is granted. In order to safeguard information and data, SANCET will record the authors of all data submitted to the database. If publications are made by the agreed partners, collaborators and authors, acknowledgement of the data provider and SANCET must be explicitly quoted in publication.
